Hi! I'm Jessica, founder of Soodo.
I’ve been in eCommerce since my teenage years. It started like many other 'pocket-money'-hungry kids my age, playing around and selling things with Gumtree, Carousell & eBay. I then launched my first T-shirt brand at 17, and never quite looked back.
Since then, I’ve explored building DTC brands across everything from beverages to home decor and tech accessories.
Some brands failed, others funded my solo travels and gave me a taste of freedom that no 9-to-5 could match. After having one of my brands kicked out of Etsy, I knew I needed to have a standalone store.
That experience led me to risk it all and start Soodo in my twenties.
After testing nearly every platform out there, we chose to specialize in Shopify. It’s simply the best for serious online businesses looking to build their legacy without relying heavily on marketplaces.

Why "Soodo"?
The name “Soodo” draws inspiration from “pseudo-nymous”- reflecting our philosophy of being the silent force behind our clients’ success stories.
Soodo was founded to help ambitious brand owners build high-performing Shopify stores without the hassle of navigating complex setups, integrations, and growth strategies alone.
Today, Soodo is a trusted Shopify partner, offering custom Shopify store design, full-store migrations, audits, and conversion optimization services tailored for growing eCommerce businesses.
My Own eCommerce Journey
I launched my first T-shirt brand while studying at Singapore Polytechnic, and started doing local pop-ups before expanding internationally through Etsy, hitting 100+ international orders in my first year.
In 2019, I moved to Berlin and launched another brand ‘ChunkCase’, on Shopify, specializing in Microsoft Surface accessories. This store eventually closed in 2024 after we could not compete with similar brands in the market.
I eventually merged that business into Patch&Bagel, which is based on Shopify and has a local Shopee pop-up store as well.
Through years of trial, experience, and a deep dive into Shopify’s capabilities, I am now proudly store-building, optimizing & helping other businesses grow their brands through Soodo.
