The Brand

The Fonz distributes Korean beauty brands, and they were ready to take control of their customer relationships. Relying on marketplaces meant paying commissions on every sale and having no direct channel to their community. They needed a custom Shopify store that could do everything the marketplaces couldn't.

This was a full DTC ecosystem build, not just a website. The brief included reviews and UGC to build social proof, a loyalty program to incentivise repeat purchases, a Telegram community CTA to grow their owned audience, and translation into two additional languages to reach their full customer base.
